What is live scan fingerprinting?
Essentially, live scan fingerprinting is the process of capturing fingerprints electronically. It is a process that replaces traditional ink fingerprinting. Captured fingerprints are scanned and securely transmitted to specific agencies who perform criminal and background checks.
Whether you are a job seeker who needs to be fingerprinted for pre-employment purposes or you are an employer wanting to conduct a background check on your prospective employees, our live scan fingerprinting service is available to you. We handle state (MD) and FBI (Federal) background checks.
Please take note that appointments and walk-ins are allowed.

Fingerprinting Requirements
All applications must bring:
- Valid Government Issued ID Card (Driver’s License, State ID, Passport, Green Card etc.)
- Name and Authorization Number from Requesting Agency
- ORI Number of the Requesting Agency (For All Government Agency Requests)
- Fill out the Livescan Pre-registration Application and bring to the center
Acceptable Method of Payment:
All fees and due at time of service and may include the following payment types
- Cashier’s Checks, Money Order and Company Checks (accepted through contracts)
- All Credit and Debit Cards accepted
We are opened from 9AM to 5PM Monday through Friday and from 9AM to 2PM on Saturday.
